Ulwe is a major residential market in Navi Mumbai and buying property in Ulwe is considered a smart decision for the rapid development of the area over the years. Ulwe is home to multiple affordable, mid range and premium projects alike. There are several leading developers like Lakhani, Neelkanth, Progressive Group and Swaraj who are highly active in the area. There are several mid stage and well occupied projects in the entire area while 1 and 2 BHK housing units are predominantly available here. Demand for property has gone up in the area after the announcement of major infrastructural developments here.Ulwe is a node of Panvel and is maintained by CIDCO. Ulwe is a planned residential zone and will soon be placed under the Panvel Municipal Corporation. The Navi Mumbai metro project will boost connectivity hugely in the future. Ulwe has also witnessed huge price appreciation after the Navi Mumbai International Airport was proposed to be built near the locality. Ulwe is also home to a sports complex with badminton, football, swimming, indoor games and hockey facilities. There are massive land parcels owned by Reliance Industries in the area while the proposed Bamandongri railway station is the nearest. The proposed Nhava Sheva-Sewri Sea-Link will be another major development that will boost connectivity in the area.Ulwe lies just 6 miles away from Panvel and offers access to the Panvel Creek. Ulwe is home to rich mangroves and two rivers. The Reliance SEZ is the showpiece commercial development in Ulwe while the Palm Beach Road lies 3.5 kilometres away from it. There is another railway station proposed to be developed while the upcoming Ulwe Coastal Road is another major development. Dronagiri and Kalamboli are both well linked to Ulwe. The proposed MTHL landing site is located nearby which is the six lane dual carriageway bridge linking Nhava, Sewri and Ulwe West. State and National Highways can be accessed through the important Amra Marg and this links the CBD in Navi Mumbai to the proposed Airport, Jawaharlal Nehru Port and other areas. The proposed international financial service centre will also boost commercial development near the stretch along with the Seawoods-Ulwe link from the Palm Beach Road. A diamond hub will also be developed near Ulwe in the future.Property prices have increased by approximately 3.45% in the area as per Q3 2015 and average prices stand at around INR 6, 215 per sq. ft. here for the same period. Popular projects include Lakhani White Castle, Neelkanth Bliss, Progressive Group Icon, Swaraj Kingston and Lakhani Oasis to name a few.

Being a resident of Ulwe, I think the locality has all the necessities to meet the demand of the residents. The upcoming developments in Ulwe may increase the demand for housing. The upcoming Navi-Mumbai International Airport is an attractive project. Furthermore, the ongoing Belapur-Ulwe suburban railway corridor will have a new station in the Gavhan area in Ulwe. These ongoing projects are going to give Ulwe very good connectivity as well.

I used to live in Ulwe a long time back and my overall experience in the locality was very good. The neighborhood was amiable and the locality had all the necessities to fulfill my demands. There were several shopping malls such as Haware Malls, Nexus Seawoods and so on. There are many banks and ATMs around the locality as well. However, construction debris was dumped near the mangroves in Ulwe, which was illegal.

I have lived in Ulwe all my life and I think it is one of the best localities in Navi Mumbai with several tourist attractions such as Mango Garden, Jewel of Navi Mumbai, Belapur Fort, and all these locations are within a 7-8 Km radius. There are several good hospitals in Ulwe such as Sree Samarth, Feenixx, Ulwe Superspeciality and so on. Waterlogging during monsoons is a major concern.

I rented an apartment in Ulwe a few months back and overall, I am happy with the locality. There are many employment zones nearby, increasing employment opportunities for people. The locality is along NH-348A, providing good connectivity to many other important areas. The railway connectivity is yet another advantage of living in Ulwe and it makes commuting easy for the local people. The upcoming airport is an additional benefit in Ulwe.

I have lived in Ulwe for many years and the locality has all the necessities to fulfil the demands of the residents. The locality is very convenient as it provides very good connectivity. Ulwe is about 33 Kms away from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaja International Airport and is connected via Bangalore-Mumbai Highway. It is a mid- budget segment locality with a number of 1 and 2 BHK ready-to-move apartments. Overall, I am satisfied.
